Myk Baxter Marketing Ireland Launches New Website as PALI's Preferred Website & Marketing Partner

By Myk Baxter
MBM Ireland and PALI logos with an Irish tricolour and Dublin skyline, announcing the new Irish website.

We're proud to announce the launch of the Myk Baxter Marketing Ireland website, marking an exciting new chapter in our Irish expansion and our 12-month partnership with Play, Activity & Leisure Ireland.

As PALI's Preferred Website & Marketing Partner, we're bringing our experience in custom websites, booking software and digital marketing directly to members across Ireland.

For us, this is a significant milestone. For members, our focus is on what it means in practice: access to an experienced team that understands the pressures of running a play, activity or leisure business and can help make the digital side work harder for you.

Our new website brings together the partnership, member benefits, services and examples of our work in one place.

A new chapter, built on years of experience

Myk Baxter Marketing Ireland builds on the experience of our wider agency, founded in 2010. Our founder, Myk Baxter, brings 22 years of digital marketing and eCommerce experience to the business, supported by a team covering strategy, design, development, search, advertising and customer retention.

Over that time, our team has helped businesses improve how they present themselves online, attract customers and turn interest into enquiries, bookings and sales.

MBM Ireland brings that experience to PALI members through a dedicated offering and an Irish presence at 24A Baggot Street Upper, Dublin 4.

We recognise that running a busy venue leaves little time to manage several disconnected digital suppliers. Your website, booking system and marketing should support each other, with clear responsibilities and people you can turn to when you need help.

That is the approach we're bringing to our work in Ireland.

What our PALI partnership means for your business

Our 12-month agreement with PALI creates an opportunity to support a network of approximately 120 members across Ireland's play, activity and leisure sector.

Alongside developing PALI's new association website and member platform, MBM Ireland is providing members with access to preferential rates, practical advice and services shaped around their businesses.

Depending on your priorities, that support could include:

  • A custom website that makes your activities, parties and packages easier to explore and book
  • Booking software that reflects your availability, capacity and operating rules
  • SEO and local search support to help customers find your venue
  • Google and Meta advertising to support bookings and relevant campaigns
  • Email marketing to encourage repeat visits and maintain customer relationships
  • Hosting, maintenance and ongoing technical support

You don't need to know which service you need before speaking to us.

You may have a clear project in mind, or you may simply know that your website is frustrating customers, your booking process involves too much administration or your marketing is difficult to measure.

We can start with the problem and help you work out the most sensible next step.

Understanding the sector through our work with Jungle Den

Our work with Jungle Den in Naas and Newbridge has been an important part of our journey into Ireland.

Supporting the business with its website, custom booking system and marketing gave us first-hand insight into the details that matter to play and leisure operators.

A party booking can involve different packages, arrival times, deposits, capacity limits and customer requirements. Multiple venues add another layer of complexity. Behind each customer-facing page is a team that needs clear information and reliable processes.

Those practical details have helped shape the approach we're bringing to PALI members through MBM Ireland.

For Jungle Den, our work brought together a new website, booking technology and search marketing, with the aim of improving the customer journey and giving the business greater control over its digital operations.

Every venue is different, so we would never assume that one solution fits every PALI member. What we can bring is experience of the questions to ask, the details to consider and the importance of making the system work for both customers and staff.

Custom websites designed around how customers book

When someone visits your website, they should be able to understand what you offer and what to do next.

For a parent planning a birthday party, that might mean comparing packages, checking what is included and finding an available date. For a family organising a visit, it could mean checking age suitability, opening times, prices and facilities.

If those answers are difficult to find, customers may leave or contact your team for information the website could have provided.

Our website design service for Irish play and leisure venues focuses on making those journeys clearer.

We consider the information customers need, how they move between pages and how easily they can complete an enquiry or booking, particularly on mobile devices.

We also look at the needs of the people managing the website. Keeping content accurate and making routine updates should be considered from the beginning.

The aim is a website that represents your venue professionally and supports the way your business operates.

Booking software with 0% commission charged by MBM Ireland

One of the key services available through Myk Baxter Marketing Ireland is custom booking software with 0% commission charged by MBM Ireland.

Percentage-based booking commissions can become a growing expense as more customers book online. Our approach gives operators an alternative, with software configured around their business and no percentage commission charged by us on bookings.

Depending on the agreed scope, the system can support functions such as:

  • Party and activity availability
  • Online deposits and payments
  • Customer booking confirmations
  • Multiple locations
  • Gift vouchers, memberships and private hire
  • Custom booking rules and administrative reporting

It is important to distinguish zero commission from zero cost. Development, software and support charges may apply, and standard payment-processing charges from your chosen provider may still apply separately.

We'll explain those costs clearly so you can assess the full picture against your current arrangements.

Marketing that supports the whole customer journey

A good website needs the right people to find it. Once they arrive, they need a clear reason to book. After their visit, there may be opportunities to bring them back.

MBM Ireland's digital marketing services support those connected stages.

Helping customers discover your venue

SEO and local search help your website communicate what you offer and where you operate.

For play and leisure businesses, that can involve improving pages about parties, activities, group visits and other relevant services, alongside strengthening local visibility.

Paid advertising through Google, Facebook and Instagram can support specific campaigns, packages and seasonal priorities.

Making more of the interest you already receive

Increasing website traffic is only useful if visitors can take the next step.

We look at page content, navigation, calls to action and the booking journey to identify where customers may be getting stuck or leaving.

Sometimes a focused improvement to an existing page or process can be a more sensible starting point than a complete rebuild.

Encouraging customers to return

Your relationship with a customer does not need to end after their first visit.

Our email marketing service can help you communicate relevant events, school holiday activities, party options and membership opportunities, with appropriate attention to consent and customer preferences.

The objective is to build a useful, consistent approach to attracting customers and encouraging repeat business.

Meeting members at the PALI AGM

Myk will be presenting at the PALI AGM on 8 September, introducing Myk Baxter Marketing Ireland and our partnership, explaining what the new PALI website will bring members and outlining the support available.

He will also be spending a week in Ireland around the AGM, making time to meet members and hear about their businesses directly.

Those conversations are an important part of the partnership.

We want to understand what is working well, where you encounter difficulties and what would make the biggest difference to your day-to-day operations.

If you're attending the AGM, please come and introduce yourself. Whether you have a specific question or would simply like to put a face to the name, we'll be pleased to meet you.

If you would like to arrange a conversation during Myk's visit, contact us in advance and we'll do our best to find a suitable time.

How to get started with MBM Ireland

The first step is a conversation about your venue and your priorities.

It helps to share your website address, the booking system you currently use and anything you would like to improve. You don't need to prepare a detailed brief or arrive with a technical solution.

We can discuss what you already have, identify where support may be useful and explain the relevant PALI member options.

If your current setup is working well, that matters too. Our role is to give you clear advice and help you make informed decisions about where to invest your time and budget.

A partnership built around you

Our Irish expansion is an exciting milestone for Myk Baxter Marketing Ireland, but the success of this partnership will be measured by what we help PALI members achieve.

That means taking the time to understand your business, giving you clear advice and following through with support that makes a practical difference, from easier bookings and less administration to stronger customer relationships.

We're looking forward to meeting members at the AGM and throughout our week in Ireland, hearing your stories and understanding your ambitions.

PALI has brought us together. Now we're ready to get to work.
